Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Landscaper I to provide landscape maintenance support for various properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision, operate commercial equipment safely, and assist with maintaining plant materials and landscape features.

Responsibilities include mowing, edging, pruning, planting, weed control, and routine equipment upkeep, while maintaining a friendly demeanor with guests and customers. Cleaning and safety protocols apply at all times.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and dependable.
• Enthusiastic and able to show up reliably.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment such as gas-powered tools.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, trimmer, mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with mowers, trim and edge with edger, and operate a gas blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees; maintain flowerbeds.
• Maintain sidewalks, beds, trees, and buildings with edging and trimming.
• Weed by hand or with hoe; perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Remove trash and debris; maintain a polite, responsive demeanor with guests.
• Report unsafe conditions to the Crew Leader.
