Job summary

West End Terrace Apartments in Nashville is seeking a reliable Grounds Technician to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of our apartment community. This part-time role offers a weekday schedule with no weekends, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, ~40 hours per week, and reports to the Property Manager.

The candidate will perform daily maintenance, groundskeeping, unit turnover support, and light maintenance tasks, with emphasis on safety and resident relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver''s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Daily property maintenance.
• Remove trash from buildings and common areas.
• Walk grounds to remove litter and debris.
• Maintain dumpster areas.
• Keep breezeways and common areas clean.
• Operate blowers, rakes, and basic equipment.
• Maintain curb appeal and cleanliness.
• Assist with seasonal tasks (leaf removal, etc.).
• Unit turnover support: trash-outs and preparation for new residents.
• Light maintenance support: replace exterior light bulbs and assist with minor work orders.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
• Interact professionally with residents and visitors.
