Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Forklift Operator for a rugged 50+ acre outdoor yard in Spring Grove, PA. You will operate a 5,000 lb forklift in paved and unpaved areas within a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

Pay is $21–$22 per hour with benefits including 401(k), disability, life, health/dental/vision, and paid time off. GardenCore is a major U.S. manufacturer with 58 facilities and 1,400+ employees nationwide.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience operating 5,000 lb forklift in outdoor yard.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to perform routine inspection, fueling and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Must pass internal Forklift Certification Training.
• Physical ability to lift up to 65 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment.
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load product onto and unload product from flatbeds and box trailers.
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation.
• Other duties as needed.
