Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Forklift Operator to operate a 5,000 lb forklift in a rugged outdoor setting, including paved and unpaved areas. The role requires attention to safety, inventory organization, and efficient loading/unloading of goods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The position requires 2+ years of forklift experience, English literacy, and the ability to pass internal certification. Competitive benefits, 401(k), health and life insurance, and paid time off are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience operating 5,000 lb forklift in outdoor yard environment.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to perform routine inspection, fueling & preventive maintenance duties.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Must pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 65 lbs and working in dusty, hot or cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment.
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load/unload product from flatbeds and trailers.
• Audit and interpret shipping documents, weights, measures, labels and production schedules.
• Other duties as needed.
