Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Forklift Operator for our rugged 50+ acre outdoor facility, where forklifts of 5,000 lbs are used in both covered and uncovered areas. The role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with responsibilities spanning loading, unloading, and yard organization.

Applicants must have at least 2 years’ forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass internal forklift certification training and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating 5,000-lb forklifts in an outdoor yard environment.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Strong math, communication, and comprehension skills for coordinating with transport, dispatch, and trailer hitch operations.
• Ability to pass forklift certification training and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll-up enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment.
• Organise product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load and unload product from flatbeds and box trailers.
• Audit and interpret shipping documentation, weights, measures, and production schedules.
