Job summary

Oldcastle is seeking a skilled forklift operator to work in our fast-paced manufacturing facility, indoors and outdoors, with duties in yard organization, loading/unloading, and compliance with PPE and EHS policies.

This role requires documented forklift experience (6,000 lb), a high school diploma or GED, English literacy, and the ability to read and interpret shipping docs; compensation ranges $18–$21 per hour with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a 6,000 lb forklift in outdoor yard environments.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to perform routine inspection, fueling and preventive maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines and forklift equipment.
• Organize product in the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load and unload product from flatbeds and trailers.
• Audit and interpret shipping documents, weights, measures and schedules.
