Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking an Equipment and Machine Operator in North Carolina to operate fork­lift equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and handle loading/unloading of goods in both indoor and outdoor areas.

The role requires at least 2 years of forklift experience in an outdoor yard, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read English. Candidates must comply with PPE policies and safety regulations, with forklift certification training a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience operating 6,000 lb forklift in an outdoor yard environment.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training,and experience.
• Strict adherence to PPE policy and respect of laws and regulations concerning EHS.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment
• Organize product in the yard according to inventory procedures
• Safely load product onto and unload product from flatbeds and box trailers
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation by auditing, recording and interpreting shipping documentation, weights & measures, labels and production schedules
