Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Forklift Operator to manage material handling in a rugged outdoor setting. You will operate a 5,000 lb forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and handle loading/unloading on flatbeds and trailers, while organizing yard inventory and maintaining accurate shipping documentation.

Applicants should have at least two years of forklift experience, the ability to pass internal certification, read/write English, and lift up to 65 lbs in varying conditions including

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience operating a 5,000 lb forklift in outdoor yard environments.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to perform routine inspection, fueling and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Must pass Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment.
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load and unload product from flatbeds and box trailers.
• Audit, record, and interpret shipping documentation, weights and measures, labels and production schedules.
• Perform other duties as needed.
