Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services in Durham, NC seeks an experienced Outside Sales Specialist to generate and close residential and commercial fencing sales through in-person consultations, referrals, and proactive outreach.

You will join a commission-based team with a guaranteed training draw of $1,200 per week during the 90-day period, with average earnings of $80,000–$110,000+ annually and benefits after the training phase.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of outside sales experience in fencing/construction/home-improvement industries.
• Proven ability to close sales and manage a territory.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience using CRM and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective residential and commercial customers to assess project needs.
• Prepare and present fencing and outdoor structure proposals.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, and community engagement.
• Follow up on company-provided leads in a timely manner.
• Educate customers on product options, materials, design features, and project timelines.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurately track opportunities.
• Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Develop lasting relationships with customers to generate repeat and referral business.
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals and performance expectations.
