Job summary

Lamar Outdoor of Des Moines, Urbandale, IA is hiring a Sales Account Executive to drive outdoor advertising campaigns in Des Moines and surrounding areas. This on-site, full-time role offers salary plus commission and a strong training program, with opportunities for advancement within Lamar’s communities.

Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, prospecting, presenting to clients, and managing accounts using Lamar tools and CRM.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent, valid driver’s license.
• College degree preferred; CRM experience preferred.
• Ability to meet sales targets and develop relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales targets and monitor personal sales data and reports.
• Target businesses in the assigned area and visit Lamar clients and competitors’ clients.
• Maintain working knowledge of local and national competition and cluster accounts.
• Identify growth areas, open new accounts, and follow up on leads.
• Prepare proposals and written presentations using Lamar computer tools.
• Develop product knowledge and selling skills and participate in meetings and trade shows.
• Perform administrative duties: sales plans, order follow-up, and record-keeping.
