Job summary

Arvato is seeking an Outbound Team Lead to manage daily shipping operations in a fast-paced distribution center. You'll supervise warehouse associates, assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure accurate, on-time outbound shipments while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years in shipping within a distribution environment, strong MS Office skills, and a focus on coaching and developing team members to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a fast-paced distribution/warehouse setting.
• Demonstrated shipping experience in a warehouse environment.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of warehouse associates during outbound processes.
• Assign work and monitor productivity to meet daily shipping goals.
• Oversee order picking, packing, staging, and loading outbound shipments.
• Ensure orders are accurate and shipped according to customer/carrier requirements.
• Monitor labor allocation and adjust staffing based on workload.
• Coach, train and develop team members with performance feedback.
• Enforce safety policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Investigate shipping errors, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues.
