Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead for Shipping (2nd shift, 1:30pm–10:00pm) in Northlake, IL. The role drives outbound shipping goals, plans staffing and equipment, and ensures safety and quality in a fast-paced distribution center.

You will coach a team, analyze shipping issues, and coordinate with other departments to improve efficiency while maintaining records of shipments and inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in distribution or warehouse environments.
• Proficiency with WMS or similar distribution software.
• Leadership experience in warehouse setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Outbound Department with consistency and effectiveness to meet shipping goals.
• Plan and schedule manpower and equipment to achieve daily objectives.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, productivity, and quality with proven results.
• Coach and develop team members through training initiatives and recognition.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Conduct root cause analysis of shipping issues and implement corrective actions.
