Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Team Lead - Shipping for 2nd shift (1:30pm–10:00pm) in Texas. You will lead the Outbound Department, scheduling manpower and equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time order fulfillment. The role requires 1–2 years in distribution or warehouse settings, WMS proficiency, and leadership skills.

Forklift experience is a plus. Competitive hourly pay includes a $23.87 base rate plus a $1.50 shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred.
• 1–2 years of distribution or warehouse experience.
• Proficiency with WMS or similar distribution software.
• Leadership experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of distribution center functions and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and training abilities.
• Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Outbound Department to meet/exceed shipping goals.
• Plan and schedule manpower and equipment to meet daily objectives.
• Understand workload priorities across distribution center functions.
• Foster a positive team environment with strong communication and leadership.
• Uphold safety, housekeeping, productivity, and quality standards.
• Maintain attendance and support overtime as needed.
• Coach and develop team members through training and mentoring.
• Analyze root causes of shipping issues and implement corrective actions.
