Job summary

SelectQuote is seeking experienced, driven, resilient sales professionals to join our Qualifications Team as Sales Development Advisors (SDA). This is an unlicensed, outbound sales position focused on contacting prospective customers, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and transferring them to licensed agents.

The role is high-volume, with up to 800 outbound calls per day, paid training, base salary plus bonus, and a potential career path into a licensed sales role.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of telesales, inside sales, phone sales, or comparable sales experience.
• Strong objection-handling and closing skills.
• Professional and reliable work habits.
• Demonstrated success working toward quotas, KPIs, conversion goals, or other measurable sales objectives.
• Ability to follow scripts and established sales processes.
• Willingness to be coached and implement feedback.

Responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective customers, with activity up to 800 calls per day.
• Generate interest and create meaningful engagement with prospective customers.
• Identify customer needs and qualify prospects for transfer to a licensed insurance agent.
• Handle objections and move prospects toward the next step.
• Meet or exceed monthly transfer, contact-to-transfer, and other performance goals.
