sefl is seeking a PT Outbound Freight Handler in Rocky Mount, NC. You will load and unload freight, prepare trailers, and ensure safe handling using forklifts and other equipment. The role requires a HS diploma or GED, background check, and possibly forklift certification. Pay ranges from $18.70 to $22.20 per hour, with a second shift schedule.

Candidates with forklift experience and prior warehouse roles are preferred. Training on safety and proper lifting techniques will be provided as needed.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background check and alcohol/drug test required.
• Forklift Certification preferred.
• Experience as Forklift Operator or Warehouse Worker preferred.

Mansioni

• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment.
• Prepare, sweep, inspect and clean trailers before loading freight.
• Weigh and dimension shipments to ensure proper classification and safe handling.
• Review freight bills for special instructions and verify paperwork.
• Check manifests and labels against freight bills and identify exceptions.
• Block and brace freight to prevent shifting during transport.
• Verify hazardous material descriptions and placarding as needed.
