Job summary

Poolcorp in Sarasota, FL is seeking an Account Development Representative to manage a dedicated book of 500–700 customer accounts entirely over the phone. This proactive, outbound role builds relationships with builders, service companies, and retailers to grow share of wallet and drive value through SCP/SPP offerings.

You will work with field sales and Sales Centers to ensure each account receives appropriate attention, daily. A fast-paced environment rewards persistence and results.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of inside sales or account management experience in B2B distribution.
• Proactive, outbound sales with strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a large book of accounts and work in a metrics-driven environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; resilient and self-motivated.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of 500–700 accounts and develop a proactive call plan.
• Make high-volume outbound calls to drive sales and share of wallet.
• Complete full sales cycle by phone: identify needs, quote, negotiate, and close.
• Monitor purchasing patterns and cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
• Promote PoolCORP products and programs to maximize customer purchases.
• Maintain CRM records and collaborate with sales teams to resolve issues.
