Job summary

Alterra is seeking a seasonal food runner at Schweitzer to deliver food to guests, assist with bussing tables, and support the dining team in a fast-paced mountain resort environment.

Ideal candidates are energetic, customer-focused and able to stand for long periods; duties include greeting guests, maintaining a clean station, and assisting with snow shoveling and general duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Idaho Food Safety Certification required or training provided.
• Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Certificate required or training provided.
• Proactive, customer-focused with teamwork and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions.
• Keep cashier station clean, organized, and stocked.
• Maintain Outback cleanliness by bussing tables and cleaning bathrooms.

Position Summary:

Runner responsible for delivering food to guests, unloading cat, and bussing tables.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, answer questions.
• Keep the cashier station and surrounding areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies and inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Outback by bussing tables, emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms.
• Maintain a positive, upbeat, and energetic attitude toward guests and coworkers. Work as part of the team by assisting, communicating, and proactivity troubleshooting problems.
• Keeps fire pit going.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Shovel snow
• Other duties as assigned

Specific Job Skills:

License/Certifications- Idaho Food Safety Certification and Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Certificate (training provided).

Technical- Computer skills

Physical Capabilities- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Will lift up to 25lbs frequently, up to 50lbs occasionally and up to 100lbs with assistance.

Additional- Exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards.
