Schweitzer in Sandpoint, ID is seeking an Outback Cashier for the winter season. You will process payments, issue receipts, and assist guests with orders, delivering friendly, professional service in a high-volume lodge setting.

Handle payments, issue receipts, and may assist with order taking, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for guests. The cashier is often the first and last contact the guest has with our lodge.**Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities**:* Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system (we currently use Shift4Dine) to handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately.* Greet customers, answer questions.* Keep the cashier station and surrounding areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies and inventory.* Maintain cleanliness of the Outback by bussing tables, emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms.* Maintain a positive, upbeat, and energetic attitude toward guests and coworkers. Work as part of the team by assisting, communicating, and proactivity troubleshooting problems.**Secondary Responsibilities:*** Shovel snow* Other duties as assigned **Specific Job Skills**:License/Certifications- Idaho Food Safety Certification and Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Certificate (training provided).Technical- Computer skills Physical Capabilities- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Will lift up to 25lbs frequently, up to 50lbs occasionally and up to 100lbs with assistance.Additional- Exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards.**Education/Related Experience**:Minimum education required- English reading, writing and communication, basic math Minimum time in related position-previous cashier experience preferred
