Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety-conscious team in the Cleveland area. This route runs from Cleveland, OH to El Dorado, AR and averages about 2,800 miles per week.

Drivers average $80,000-$110,000 per year with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Compensation includes hourly wages for all on-duty non-driving time and mileage pay, plus bi-weekly home time. Health benefits offered after 30 days, with 401K and driver training support.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to use mobile applications and computer software

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
