Job summary

Clean Harbors in Bristol, CT is seeking a Local/Regional/OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join a safety‑driven team. This route runs from Bristol, CT to Cincinnati, OH, covering 2500–2800 miles per week with a compensation structure that includes both hourly on-duty time and mileage pay.

The role offers a $7,500 sign‑on bonus, bi‑weekly home time, and a benefits package with health coverage, a 401(k) match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software.
• Must meet safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety in all driving activities and comply with policies.
• Operate tractor-trailer units.
• Adhere to weight limits and load utilization.
• Load/unload hazardous or non-hazardous waste and secure loads.
• Placard vehicle per DOT requirements.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, expense, dispatch, and trip reports.

Clean Harbors is looking for a Local/Regional/OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in Bristol, CT! This route runs from Bristol, CT to Cincinnati, OH and averages 2500-2800 miles per week.

About The Role

• Drivers average $90-$115K per year
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available
• Bi-Weekly home time
• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsementsAbility to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
