Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join our safety-conscious team in Akron, OH. This route runs from Akron, OH to El Dorado, AR and covers approximately 2700–2900 miles per week.

You will earn an estimated $80,000–$110,000 per year with weekly home time, and compensation includes hourly wages for on-duty non-driving time plus mileage pay. We offer comprehensive benefits, a 401K with company matching, PTO, training, and tuition reimbursement via an Employee Stock

Qualifications

• Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
