Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in San Diego, CA. The route runs from San Diego to Aragonite, UT and/or La Porte, TX, averaging 2900-3000+ miles per week.

The position offers an average annual pay of $95k-$115k, a $7,500 sign-on bonus, and bi-weekly home time. You will be compensated with hourly wages for on-duty non-driving time and mileage pay.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Ability to effectively use mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with safe work practices and processes.
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units.
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; secures loads.
• Placards vehicle in accordance with DOT requirements/regulations.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.

• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
