Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver based in Salt Lake City, UT. The role covers routes from SLC to Kimball, NE and other northwest locations, with weekly home time and a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

Drivers earn a target of $80–$110K per year, with both hourly non-driving time and mileage pay. Responsibilities include safe operation of tractor trailers, proper loading/unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and maintaining comprehensive logs and trip reports.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 12 months of driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Ability to effectively use mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer units safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to load weights and proper securing procedures.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and trip/vehicle inspections.
• Ensure proper loading/unloading of waste and placarding per DOT rules.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in Salt Lake City, UT. This route runs from SLC to Kimball, NE and various other northwest locations. Driver can be domiciled out of Kimball, NE. Averages 2800-3000 miles per week. 2 weeks out required.

About The Role

• Drivers average $80-$110K per year

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
