Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners, LLC in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our network of rehabilitation facilities. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver individualized therapy.

The role requires an OTA degree, an active COTA license and NBCOT certification, plus prior PTA experience preferred. Schedule is PRN with daytime shifts at Stevens Point Health Services and local facilities.

Qualifications

• Requires an OTA degree from an accredited program.
• Active COTA license and NBCOT certification required.
• 1 year of PTA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT.
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program required
• Current, unencumbered state COTA License; NBCOT Certification required
• 1 year of previous experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs
