Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners in Energy, IL, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our network of skilled care facilities. You will implement treatment plans under the supervision of an OT and help patients improve function and independence at Helia Healthcare of Energy.

The position requires an OTA degree, an active state COTA license and NBCOT certification; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program completed.
• Current, unencumbered state COTA license; NBCOT certification required.
• 1 year of previous COTA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT.
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.
