Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners, LLC in Florida is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehab team. You will implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and educate patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.

The position is PRN with daytime hours at Longwood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Longwood, FL. Current Florida COTA licensure and NBCOT certification are required or preferred, with prior experience

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program is required.
• Current, unencumbered state COTA license; NBCOT certification is required.
• 1 year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is preferred.
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT.
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.
