Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN opportunity at Eastern Star Home and Campus in Oriskany, NY. You will join a collaborative rehabilitation team to provide individualized therapy, helping residents regain independence in daily activities.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, developing plans of care, providing ADL-focused treatment, and coordinating with nursing and rehab staff. NY OT license is required; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Active New York Occupational Therapist license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills. SNF or rehab experience preferred, but not required.
• New graduate Occupational Therapists are welcome to apply.

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN opportunity at Eastern Star Home and Campus. Join a collaborative rehabilitation team where you can provide individualized therapy and help residents improve their ability to perform everyday activities safely and independently.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care


• Provide skilled treatment focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, balance, and functional independence


• Establish treatment goals and monitor resident progress


• Recommend adaptive equipment and teach strategies to improve safety and daily function
