Job summary

Eastern Star Home and Campus in Oriskany, NY is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN opportunity. You will evaluate residents and develop plans of care to help them perform daily activities safely and independently.

Join a collaborative rehabilitation team and provide ADL-focused therapy, monitor progress, and adapt plans. Prior SNF or rehab experience is preferred, and new graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Active New York OT license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• SNF or rehabilitation experience preferred but not required.

$45–$50/hour | PRN

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN opportunity at Eastern Star Home and Campus. Join a collaborative rehabilitation team where you can provide individualized therapy and help residents improve their ability to perform everyday activities safely and independently.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care
• Provide skilled treatment focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, balance, and functional independence
• Establish treatment goals and monitor resident progress
• Recommend adaptive equipment and teach strategies to improve safety and daily function
• Adjust treatment plans based on resident needs and progress
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with COTAs, nursing staff, and other rehabilitation professionals
