Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist for Bedford Hills Center in Bedford, NH. Help skilled nursing residents engage in daily activities using clinical judgment to tailor treatment to abilities and recovery goals.

You will assess function, set measurable care plans, and provide hands-on treatment for daily tasks. Collaboration with nursing and rehabilitation teams is essential for discharge planning and ongoing documentation.

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment planning skills.
• Effective communication and timely, accurate documentation.
• Skilled nursing or post-acute experience is a plus; new graduates are welcome to apply

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist at Bedford Hills Center. Help skilled nursing residents work through the challenges that affect personal care and daily participation, using your clinical judgment to build treatment around their abilities, priorities, and recovery needs.

What You’ll Do

• Assess daily living performance, upper-extremity function, cognition, and activity tolerance.


• Establish individualized plans of care with measurable goals for meaningful daily activities.


• Provide treatment for dressing, bathing, toileting, functional transfers, and other tasks important to residents.


• Trial adaptive equipment and teach residents and caregivers techniques that support safer task completion.
