Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join the team at Autumn Lake at Union in Union, NJ. The OT will assess residents, develop plans, and implement treatments to improve daily living activities in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualified candidates hold an active NJ OT license. PRN schedule offers flexible coverage with opportunities to collaborate across rehabilitation disciplines.

• Recommend adaptive equipment and educate residents and caregivers on safe techniques.
• Monitor functional gains, revise treatment goals, and supervise COTA services.
• Maintain thorough clinical records and communicate recommendations to the care team.

$50–$55/hour | PRN

Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist at Autumn Lake at Union. In this skilled nursing rehabilitation role, you'll identify what stands between residents and their everyday activities, then provide treatment and practical strategies that help them participate more independently.

What You'll Do

• Assess self-care performance, functional transfers, upper-extremity abilities, cognition, and activity tolerance.

• Develop individualized plans of care based on evaluation findings, resident priorities, and anticipated discharge needs.

• Use purposeful activities to improve daily living skills and address limitations affecting task completion.

• Recommend adaptive equipment and educate residents and caregivers on safe techniques and compensatory strategies.

• Monitor functional gains, revise treatment goals, and supervise COTA services.

• Maintain thorough clinical records and communicate recommendations to nursing and the interdisciplinary care team.

What We Offer

• $50–$55 per hour.

Qualifications
