Job summary

EY is seeking an Onsite Field Support Engineer – OT in the United States. This hands-on role focuses on site readiness, asset onboarding, and infrastructure coordination across OT environments.

You’ll troubleshoot, document, and manage the support transition with site personnel, engineering teams, vendors, and remote support groups. The ideal candidate brings broad infrastructure and networking skills, practical OT awareness, and strong problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in field support, infrastructure support, networking, cybersecurity, industrial technology, or implementation roles.
• Experience supporting site-based technology deployments, infrastructure implementation, or operational readiness activities.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP addressing, VLANs, routing/switching concepts, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel and support onsite implementation activities as required.

Responsibilities

• Site Implementation Support: onboarding, readiness, and deployment activities for OT and industrial environments.
• Network and Infrastructure Support: installation, validation, and troubleshooting of network and security infrastructure.
• OT Asset Onboarding and Inventory Support: asset validation, inventory reconciliation, and onboarding into monitoring platforms.
• Testing, Readiness, and Troubleshooting: conduct connectivity validation, issue triage, and defect tracking.
• Documentation and Support Transition: maintain site implementation notes and handoff documentation.
