Job summary

EY is seeking a hands-on Onsite Field Support Engineer – OT to enable site readiness, coordinate infrastructure, onboard assets, validate deployments, troubleshoot, and document transitions in operational technology environments.

The role requires broad IT, networking, and OT awareness, with strong problem-solving and field execution discipline, plus collaboration with site personnel, engineering teams, vendors, and remote support organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, engineering, cybersecurity, or CS.
• 5+ years field/infrastructure/networking/cybersecurity experience.
• Experience deploying site-based technology and readiness activities.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and IP addressing.
• Ability to work in manufacturing/industrial environments with safety focus.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel and support onsite activities.

Responsibilities

• Support site onboarding, readiness, and deployment for OT environments.
• Assist with site surveys, readiness checks, logistics, and prep.
• Coordinate local field activities with teams, vendors, and site staff.
• Identify access issues and technical dependencies impacting implementation.
• Assist with network installation, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Validate asset connectivity and readiness after deployment.
• Maintain site deployment notes and transition documentation.
