Job summary

Expert Technology Services is seeking an OT NOC Administrator (Tier 1) to monitor Operational Technology systems, provide first-line support, and document incidents. You will escalate complex issues and work with engineering teams to maintain system availability in a 24/7 environment.

The role requires an Associate's degree in a technical field and experience in a NOC or similar operations setting, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a NOC, Operations Center, or similar technical support setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor OT systems for alarms and incidents to ensure availability and reliability.
• Provide first-level support and basic troubleshooting for critical OT environments.
• Escalate complex issues to engineering teams as required.
• Use monitoring and alerting tools to track system performance and identify issues.
• Respond to and document incidents, resolutions, and operational procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve basic system, network, and application problems.
• Collaborate with technical teams, following escalation processes and maintaining effective communication.
• Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to provide 24/7 support.
• Apply knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching) in support tasks.
• Leverage familiarity with OT systems such as SCADA, PLCs, and HMIs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for incidents and troubleshooting activities.
• (Preferred) Support OT cybersecurity efforts, Windows Server administration, OT infrastructure maintenance, and industrial control systems.
• (Preferred) Utilize relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, ISA/IEC 62443).
