Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. in Santa Ana, CA, is hiring an IT Specialist - Utility Operational Technology (OT) to support client systems and applications. The hybrid role requires at least 2 days per week on site and on-call rotation during outages.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in CS/IT/EE or related field.
• 3–5 years IT experience.
• 3–5 years IT experience in OT.
• 3–5 years in Electric Utilities software environments (OpenGrid, Pragma/OMS, Oracle).
• Experience performing data analysis.
• Experience with SQL tools (PL/SQL).
• Experience with scripting tools (PowerShell or Python).
• Experience with Windows Server maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, administer, automate, and monitor grid app software.
• Troubleshoot real-time grid integration and system administration.
• Assist with system logic, processes, and data.
• Ensure high standards of performance for customer communications and operations.
• Write and review docs describing configuration, logic, and test plans.
• Contribute to database and OS server upgrades.
• Create and execute PowerShell scripts and/or Python code.
• Provide high-tier support during outages, including on-call duty.
