Job summary

United Electric Supply Co. Inc. is seeking an IT/OT Specialist to develop, build, and maintain client OT systems. You’ll secure and manage OT environments, support EPMS, and drive multi-year modernization projects with minimal supervision.

Requirements include a 2-5 year IT/OT background, PME/CCNA much preferred, and strong project management with Windows, VMware/Hyper-V experience. On-call duties and occasional after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject preferred.
• Operational Technology (ICS IT/OT) engineer with 2-5 years maintenance and support.
• PME (Power Monitoring Expert) certification or ability to obtain PME.
• CCNA certification preferred; knowledge of SQL.
• Strong project management and documentation of workflows and service reports.
• Configuration and maintenance of IT, EPMS, and building control software.
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows environments.
• Experience automating technical and business workflows.
• Experience with hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
• Advanced networking knowledge (Cisco/AMG/Juniper).
• Experience with BAS, EPMS, SCADA monitoring; VM environments (VMware/Hyper-V).

Responsibilities

• Manage the OT network and virtual environment for key clients as part of a service contract.
• Support EPMS (Energy and Power Monitoring System).
• Implement and maintain projects that support the IT/OT vision.
• Drive multi-year technology modernization efforts with customers.
• Define, implement, and document operational processes with regular reviews.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems and system tools.
• Proactively monitor systems to ensure high availability.
• Maintain security, backups, and redundancy strategies.
• Provide IT/OT support for integrated equipment and services.
• Troubleshoot and propose alternate solutions; liaise with vendors.
• Assist in OnPoint Automation project deployment and services.
