Job summary

Rehab Without Walls is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver functional rehabilitation in home, school, work, and community settings. You will conduct evaluations, create treatment plans, and monitor progress in real-life environments such as kitchens, grocery stores, restaurants, and workplaces.

You will work autonomously within a collaborative team of therapists, with a flexible, self-directed schedule and incentives for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist by the practicing state.
• Current CPR Certification.
• At least one year of OT work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological conditions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness; attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and make home/community safety recommendations; provide referrals and education resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
