Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver functional rehabilitation in home and community settings. You will conduct evaluations, create and adjust treatment plans, and support clients in real-life activities.

The role emphasizes autonomous work within a collaborative therapy team, with emphasis on safety, communication, and adapting therapies to real-life environments such as home, work, and community settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the practicing state.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of one year of OT work experience.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological conditions is preferred.
• Effective communication in verbal and written form required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness; attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
