Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide functional rehabilitation in home, school, work, and community settings. You will lead evaluations, create adaptive plans, and promote independence in real-life activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license by the practicing state.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year’s OT work experience.
• Knowledge of neurorehabilitation techniques preferred.
• Effective communication skills; able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness; attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
