Job summary

EY is seeking an Onsite Field Support Engineer – OT to enable site readiness, coordinate infrastructure, onboard assets, validate deployments, troubleshoot issues, document work, and ensure a smooth transition to steady-state support.

Ideal candidates will have broad experience across infrastructure, networking, endpoint support, and practical OT environments, with strong problem-solving and coordination abilities. Travel to client sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in field support, infrastructure support, networking, cybersecurity, industrial technology, or implementation roles.
• Experience supporting site-based technology deployments, infrastructure implementation, or operational readiness activities.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP addressing, VLANs, routing/switching concepts, and connectivity troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Site Implementation Support: onboarding, readiness, deployment activities for OT and industrial environments.
• Network and Infrastructure Support: installation, validation, and troubleshooting of network and security infrastructure.
• OT Asset Onboarding and Inventory Support: asset validation, inventory reconciliation, and onboarding to monitoring or support platforms.
• Testing, Readiness, and Troubleshooting: conduct connectivity validation, readiness reviews, and defect tracking; triage issues.
• Documentation and Support Transition: maintain deployment notes, diagrams, and handoff documentation.
