Job summary

EY is seeking a hands-on Onsite Field Support Engineer – OT to support site readiness, asset onboarding, and deployment validation in operational technology environments.

The role requires broad infrastructure and networking skills, strong problem solving, and the ability to coordinate with site personnel, vendors, and remote support teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in field support, infrastructure support, networking, cybersecurity, industrial technology, or implementation roles.
• Experience supporting site-based technology deployments, infrastructure implementation, or operational readiness activities.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP addressing, VLANs, routing/switching concepts, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in manufacturing, laboratory, industrial, or operational environments where safety, production continuity, and site coordination are important.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to travel and support onsite implementation activities as required.

Responsibilities

• Site Implementation Support: Support site onboarding, implementation readiness, and deployment activities for OT and industrial environments.
• Network and Infrastructure Support: Assist with installation, validation, and troubleshooting of network and security infrastructure.
• OT Asset Onboarding and Inventory Support: Assist with identification, validation, and documentation of OT assets and supporting infrastructure.
• Testing, Readiness, and Troubleshooting: Support implementation testing, connectivity validation, readiness reviews, and defect tracking.
