Job summary

EY is seeking a hands-on Onsite Field Support Engineer – OT to ensure site readiness, coordinate infrastructure, onboard assets, validate deployments, troubleshoot issues, document activities, and support transition to steady-state operations in industrial OT environments.

The role requires broad technical capability across infrastructure, networking, endpoint/device support, and a practical OT awareness, with collaboration among site personnel, engineering teams, vendors, and remote support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in field support, infrastructure support, networking, cybersecurity, industrial technology, or implementation roles.
• Experience supporting site-based technology deployments, infrastructure implementation, or operational readiness activities.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP addressing, VLANs, routing/switching concepts, and connectivity troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Site onboarding, implementation readiness, and deployment activities for OT and industrial environments.
• Coordinate local field activities with project teams, engineering resources, site personnel, vendors, and support teams.
• Assist with installation, validation, and troubleshooting of network and security infrastructure.
• Assist with asset onboarding, inventory reconciliation, and documentation updates.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting for connectivity, endpoint, OT asset, and deployment issues.
