Job summary

EY seeks an Onsite Field Support Engineer – OT to drive site readiness, asset onboarding, implementation validation, and troubleshooting in operational technology environments.

The role requires hands-on expertise across infrastructure, networking, endpoint support, and field coordination with site personnel, vendors, and remote support teams.

Travel to client sites is expected to support onsite activities and ensure proper documentation and smooth handoff to steady-state support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or engineering preferred.
• 5+ years in field support, infrastructure, networking, or OT deployments.
• Experience with site-based technology deployments and readiness activities.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals including IP, VLANs, routing and switching.
• Willingness to travel and support onsite activities.

Responsibilities

• Site Implementation Support: onboarding, readiness, deployment activities for OT environments.
• Network and Infrastructure Support: installation, validation, and troubleshooting of network and security infrastructure.
• OT Asset Onboarding and Inventory Support: identify, document, and validate OT assets and supporting infrastructure.
• Testing, Readiness, and Troubleshooting: support testing, connectivity validation, defect tracking, and escalation as needed.
• Documentation and Support Transition: maintain deployment notes, asset information, and handoff documentation.
