Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an experienced Operational Technology Cyber Defense Specialist to protect our global manufacturing environment.

Based in Midland, TX or Houston, TX, you will lead OT threat detection, investigations, and response coordination while collaborating with the CSOC to strengthen overall cyber resilience. Ideal candidates bring deep OT engineering background, strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, and a passion for defending critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience at/above E5 or 5 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant OT cybersecurity experience.
• Deep OT/ICS knowledge across DCS, PLC, SCADA; strong cyber threat understanding.

Responsibilities

• Serve as OT SME for industrial control systems and OT networks.
• Lead detection use cases and analytics for OT environments.
• Investigate security events in OT/enterprise and coordinate responses.
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intelligence into defenses.
• Develop OT-focused playbooks and incident response guidance.
• Mentor analysts to grow OT cybersecurity capabilities.
