Job summary

TheraDynamics, a therapist-owned rehabilitation company with 20+ years of experience, seeks a Full Occupational Therapist Assistant for SNF settings in the Tri-State area. You will assist OTs, develop plans focused on functional independence, and contribute to discharge planning.

Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP and social work to ensure coordinated care; address ADLs, cognitive rehab, upper-extremity rehab, and home safety. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible for New York State OTA license.
• NBCOT certification (or eligible).
• Passion for helping patients regain independence.
• Strong clinical reasoning and creative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Occupational Therapist in procedures, tests and complex treatments for safe, effective evaluation and treatment of patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence.
• Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social work to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Address self-care skills, cognitive and perceptual deficits, home safety, adaptive equipment needs, and caregiver training.
• Value clinical reasoning and maintain realistic productivity expectations.
