Job summary

TheraDynamics, a therapist-owned rehabilitation company, seeks an Occupational Therapist Assistant to work in skilled nursing settings. You will assist with procedures, develop plans for functional independence, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Flexible scheduling and strong mentorship are provided. Eligible candidates include those with an OTA Associate degree, NY license eligibility, and NBCOT certification.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible for New York State OTA license.
• NBCOT certification (or eligible).

Responsibilities

• Assist Occupational Therapist in procedures, tests and complex treatments to ensure safe evaluation and treatment of patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence.
• Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social work to ensure coordinated patient care.
