Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant or Occupational Therapist program.
• Current Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds; prolonged standing; frequent walking; stooping and squatting.

Responsibilities

• Implements an OT treatment program under supervision of an OT.
• Supervises rehabilitation technicians regarding patient care.
• Monitors patient progress toward treatment goals and documents in the medical record.
• Collaborates with physicians, insurance companies, and the care team to ensure safe, effective care.
