Job summary

Amenity Health Services in Houston, TX is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the plan of care under supervision of an OT. The successful candidate will deliver therapeutic services and document patient responses during visits while adhering to state supervision guidelines.

This full-time position requires an OTA credential, pediatric experience, and CPR/BLS certification. Benefits include health, vision, dental, life and more, with paid holidays and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience with pediatrics.
• CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans activities and provides therapeutic services for occupational therapy.
• Records type of treatment and patient\'s reaction to it in patient notes, which are written on the day of the visit and incorporated in the patient\'s record weekly.
• Follow guidelines for supervision as outlined by the State Board for Occupational Therapy.
• Track and follow authorized visits according to what had been allowed by insurance and in plan of care.
