Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice is mandatory.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to identify the best intervention for each patient.
• Implement treatment plans and progress toward goals with supervision.
• Communicate evaluation findings to residents, families, and the care team.
• Schedule resident therapy in coordination with the team.
• Document and bill occupational therapy services per guidelines.
• Perform other duties to effectively treat patients as needed.
• Maintain CMS-compliant daily documentation practices.
