Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert to lead and drive On-Site Services (OSS) inspection and repair scopes across North America.

You will plan, execute, and close out complex OSS repairs, coordinating technicians, tooling, logistics, and off-site technical support while ensuring EHS and quality standards are met. You will serve as the primary OSS contact for customers and internal teams, participate in RCA/NCR processes, and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of professional work experience
• 5+ years of experience supporting Field Services, repairs, equipment and tooling or equivalent
• Understanding of mechanical engineering, machining, repairs, inspection, and rotor/ rotating equipment NDT
• Commitment to strong EHS culture and quality
• LEAN or similar quality process experience
• People and TEAM leadership skills
• Project Management skills
• Strong oral and written communication and negotiation skills
• Time management and organization; sense of urgency
• Ability to manage multiple complex situations and drive change
• Willingness to travel occasionally (~5%)

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, planning, execution and close-out of OSS repairs projects to meet EHS, Quality, Delivery and Cost goals
• Coordinate technician and tooling mobilization/demobilization, documentation, logistics, and off-site technical assistance
• Serve as primary OSS point of contact for customers, commercial teams, site leadership and One Field Services Managers
• Provide prompt OSS issue resolution, EHS/Quality stand-downs and escalate critical issues
• Visit sites to perform EHS and Quality audits
• Work with internal customers and stakeholders as ONE TEAM on projects
• Support Innovation, RCA/NCR processes and share lessons learned with OSS stakeholders
• Support sales and business development activities (events, LEAN, job cost estimates)
