Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineering Manager focused on NDT/NDE for the APAC region. You will lead the regional supplier quality team, develop and implement NDT/NDE procedures, and drive qualification and audits across the full product lifecycle.

You will work with engineering, sourcing and project teams to ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, ASTM and ISO standards, while enabling CAPA, PFMEA and robust supplier development.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Materials or Quality Engineering or equivalent
• ASNT Level III certification in applicable NDT methods (MT, PT, UT, RT, VT) or ISO 9712 Level III
• Significant experience in NDT procedure development and approval, personnel qualification, supplier auditing and technical evaluation
• Strong working knowledge of ASME, AWS, ASTM, ISO standards
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of time, primarily in APAC
• Professional proficiency in English

Responsibilities

• Own NDT/NDE leadership for regional SQ team, develop and implement NDT/NDE procedures
• Drive supplier qualification and quality inspection across lifecycle from onboarding to release
• Lead systemic problem-solving: RCA/RCI, SDR, NCR and CAPA implementation
• Ensure standards compliance across supplier base per GE Vernova, ASME, AWS, ASTM, ISO, ASNT
• Prepare Quality Documentation, QCPs, ITPs; support PFMEA
• Shape regional strategy with leadership; develop proactive NDT audit program
• Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Engineering and Quality for supplier outcomes
